Background:
Suthipong is a new generation conductor in Thailand. He has conducted many orchestras in Thailand and overseas, including the Jakarta City Philharmonic in Indonesia, the Savaria Symphony Orchestra in Hungary, the Bad Reichenhall Philharmoniker in Germany and more.
Also, Suthipong was the only Thai who was assistant conductor in a Don Giovanni production at Estate Theater Prague in 2016. Suthipong was selected to participate in masterclasses with world-class artists such as Benjamin Zander, Achim Holub, Rudolf Koelman and other artists.
Suthipong began his conductor career with Mr. Vajirawitch Punyaluk in Thailand. After that, he studied for a Master's Degree in Conducting Program at Mahidol University with Dr. Thanapol Setabramana and Dr. Rit Subsomboon. Lastly, Suthipong was the first Thai conductor who received an Austrian Scholarship, which is supported by the Austrian Government, in Orchestral Conducting to study at the University of Music and Performing Arts, Graz, with Dr. Wolfgang Dörner in Master of Orchestral Conducting
In addition, Suthipong studied violin and string pedagogy with Mr. Siripong Tiptan, Mr. Pongsit Karnkriangkrai, and Mr. Alssandro Capello. Currently, Suthipong is an associate founder and associate conductor of the Bangkok Philharmonic Society.
