Background:
Emily Stewart is a Bangkok-based violinist, arranger, educator, and performer.
In 2021, she performed and recorded the haunting violin solo score to the film The Disciple. She has curated creative projects and performed with internationally renowned artists including KAIROS Dance Theater, Stevie Wonder, Andrea Bocelli, Placido Domingo and more.
Emily has contributed significantly to the design, development, and implementation of progressive string and orchestra curriculum in public, independent, and international schools. She writes and performs with the experimental pop duo Automatic Hangout Partner.
Fiercely committed to the evolution of music, art, and humanity, Emily dedicates herself every day to equipping young students with the knowledge, inspiration, and confidence that will empower them to design the future of music. She creates lessons that promote self-directed learning and creativity, while also guiding students to rely on patient determination and solid technique.
She is delighted to be a part of the Kinnari Music Festival and looks forward to an amazing and inspirational week.
